How it Works
1
Follow friends, topics, and feeds*
We'll order your front page by what's best. We decide that based on a number of factors, but the most important is ink.
* RSS, Medium, Substack, YouTubers, blogs and more.
2
Ink
ink is a count of the number of monetary tips an author has received.
3
Subscription
Your account is always free. You only need a subscription to ink.
To ink is to share a slice of your subscription with an author. It's the purest signal of quality and appreciation.

At the end of your billing period, the author will receive a portion of your subscription depending on the total number of authors you gave ink too. If you gave ink to four authors and your total ink to give is $4, then each gets $1 ($4 / 4 authors).
However, we may not know who the author of the story is. A team member will investigate, identify the author(s) and reach out to get them signed up for Superego if they aren't already.
If we aren't able to identify the author or they aren't eligible to collect ink, we'll split the ink among the remaining authors. Continuing the example, instead of splitting between four authors, we split $4 between three.
I got ink. What now?
Your readers and viewers appreciate you and so do we! To collect your ink, you will need to sign up for a free Superego account as an author and follow the instructions on the Author Dash.
How does Superego make money?
We take a cut: $1 for the $5 subscription. It goes towards:
- Creating the best curation engine in human history.
- Making the whole Internet ink-able.
- Bank and credit card transaction fees.
We don't sell your data. We aren't in cahoots with any publishers. And, because we don't make more money the more content you ink, we won't be vying for your precious attention like all the spammy feeds out there.
